New furnaces, heat pumps and AC in Everett
A new system is a big check to write, and you'll live with it for 15 years or more. We size it properly, show you a couple of options with real prices, and won't lean on you to buy the top one.
What we install

Why sizing matters
Plenty of systems around here are too big for the house. An oversized furnace or heat pump heats fast, shuts off, and starts again a few minutes later. That's hard on the equipment and leaves rooms uneven. In summer, it doesn't run long enough to pull the moisture out of the air.
So before we quote, we measure the house and run a load calculation (a Manual J) that accounts for windows, insulation and which way the house faces. It takes longer than copying the old unit's size. It's also why the new system works right afterward.

Rough 2026 ranges for the Everett area. Duct changes, electrical work and the efficiency level you pick all move the number. Your quote comes in writing and includes the permit and hauling off the old equipment.
How an install usually goes
- A visit. We look at the house, the ducts and the old system, and ask what bugs you about it now.
- Options. Usually two or three, with prices and what each one gets you.
- Install day. Most furnace swaps take a day. Adding a heat pump or AC usually takes two.
- Checking our work. We test airflow and refrigerant charge, set up the thermostat and show you how it all works.
- Inspection. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection, so you don't have to chase it.

How soon can you install?
Common furnaces and heat pumps are usually in stock, so most installs happen within a week or two of saying yes. If you're without heat, we'll move faster.
Do I need a permit?
Yes. In Everett and the cities around it, replacing a furnace, heat pump or AC needs a permit. We pull it and set up the inspection.
Furnace or heat pump?
It depends on the house and what you have now. With gas and good ducts, a heat pump with the furnace as backup is a nice middle ground. With baseboards, ductless is usually the answer. We'll walk through it with you.
